How To SAAS
Don’t act ! That’s the error I made ..
Every motivation guru out there will tell you to don’t stale just do it, take action and all that motivational crap. Well, some of it is true .. but this what take action will do to you:
You will lose time, lose money, lose weekends, getting stuck in mazes of infinite information and never know what to do next.
You will certainly learn a lot, but the ration of learning/failing will not be on your side.
The first year we started our first Saas without really having any information and we failed horribly.
The second year we got overwhelmed with the huge amount of information and we felt really lost. Nevertheless, we found our way to success by filtering tons of input.
I must admit, it was not easy to create a simple, time boxed, guided roadmap out of that maze. I wanted to spare you the hassle of going through what I have been through because I truly believe in this :
“Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have” - Jim Rohn
This “How to Saas”, is a series of three parts that I created with my partner. It contains the exact steps you need to do, to jump from a noob level to starting your own Saas directly.
How will this series benefit you ?
It will save you money:
You don’t have to throw money in a Startup, where you later on find out that it was a B2C with high churn and probably not worth it all along. It will spare time for you:
There is literally million of hours of Saas content out there. It took us nearly a year to come up with this precise and concise guide.
It will put you quickly on track:
I have sent this material to a couple of friends and it only took them three days to switch from a noob to an absolute Saaser. I was really impressed with the quick change of mindset and I am sure you will get there too.
Episode 1 : How To Rob
How To Rob is a 50 Cent song, where, in a funny way, he explains how he will rob other NY rappers. 50 Cent is a true hustler, he is someone that understood branding and audience. If you are not biased, 50 Cent is a true inspiration!
But my “How to Rob” is slightly different than 50 Cent’s.
My “How to Rob” is about Saas, where Rob is the famous Entrepreneur Rob Walling. He introduces himself in his videos as :
“… Startup founder with multiple exists, the author of three books about building Startups, and an investor in more than a hundred companies”
Why Start with Rob ?
Rob’s content will give you the basic of Saas:
You will know how and where to find ideas.
You will learn how to differentiate between B2C and B2B and why one is better than the other.
You will learn how to calculate Churn, MRR and all those important values.
You will learn how to select your funnels and choose your market wisely.
Overall, Rob’s content will give you the investor mindset. You will be able to find Saas ideas, rate them instantly and learn how to make a decision. So you would know right away, whether the idea is worth investing your time and money. Along with the mindset, Rob’s content will give you a process to follow and iterate until you find the right idea.
Which of Rob’s content should I follow ?
From books, to podcasts, articles and Youtube videos, Rob has a lot of content out there that will teach you everything about Saas. But if you are a Noob just like we were, you need to start with our guide. For easy consumption and to get you started right away, we cherry-picked for you a very important set of videos that will get you to the wished state faster than any other piece of content.

How much time will it take ?
Don’t worry we are Germans, so if you don’t ask about time, we will.
The How To Saas Series is consisted of three parts and it will take you three days to be a proficient Saaser. The How to Rob content is a 124 minutes content and it will take you approximately 8 hours to digest.
Conclusion
It was not meant to provide this content on new year’s eve. But what a time !
